The much awaited Mercedes-AMG S 63 is due to be launched in India tomorrow. The upcoming vehicle will emerge as fourth AMG product to be introduced in India this year. The S 63 Coupe will get a performance focused V8 engine along with distinctive AMG highlights. It is believed that the performance division of the German car manufacturer will be introducing an S63 Cabriolet version at a later date.

Mechanically, the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe will be powered by a 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine that generates 612bhp of power and 900Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to AMG Speedshift MCT 9G transmission that allows the car to sprit from 0-100kmph in just about 3.5 seconds. The top speed has been electronically restricted to 250kmph.

Visually, the upcoming performance Coupe gets AMG Panamericana radiator grille with V-shaped cooling air intake. The uplift at the front axle has been reduced with the use of aerodynamically shaped high-sheen chrome edges. The side skirts with chrome elements and large 19-inch forged light-alloy wheels gives it a sporty appeal. The rear section gets diffuser inserts and model-specific twin tailpipes of the AMG exhaust system.

Step inside and one will come across AMG power sports seats with memory function and seat heating. It gets Nappa leather upholstery, AMG badges on the seat backrests and yellow accents. The car will feature a three-spoke performance steering wheel with perforated leather and paddle shifters. The AMG matt carbon fibre and black piano lacquer trim parts completes its sporty appeal.
