One look at this E-Class Cabriolet test mule is enough for one to approve of its similarity with the C-Class. More so when you compare the grille and head lamps, however, the front bumper is all new. The profile of the new car highlights the soft top which also points to the fact that it should fold into the boot, like the outgoing car. Despite being heavily camouflaged, the rear portion of the car reveals the tail lights extending onto the boot lid section.

Power for MB’s new E-Class Cabriolet will come from the 2.0-litre four cylinder turbocharged motor. MB now pictures placing an AMG badge on all of its cars, and going by this vision, we can expect an AMG E43 Cabriolet version soon after this model goes live post the new E-Class Coupe debuts next year.
