To cash on the high customer sentiment during the festive season, Maruti Suzuki India has rolled out limited edition package for its flagship Swift hatchback and Dzire sedan right ahead of the commencement of Navratri. Confirming the news is the print ad seen in a newspaper that gives details on the limited edition of Swift christened, ‘Swift Silver Plus’ and Dizre limited edition dubbed, ‘DZire Regalia’. The Swift Silver Plus is available for sale at Rs 4.66 lakh and DZire Regalia is priced at Rs 5.13 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). There has been no change in the mechanical set up, both the cars get a couple of additional interior accessories being offered as a part of a collective package that is otherwise offered as an individual option. These accessories are being proffered at a discounted price to the customers under the limited edition offer.
Swift Silver Plus edition is available with additional interior accessories including neck pillow and back cushion, premium seat and steering cover. Mobile holder with charger, reverse parking sensors and Sony stereo and speaker system. Customers usually have to splurge around Rs 31,745 for these additional accessories, while the company is offering it at Rs 27,500, hence customers can save Rs 4,245.
A string of accessories are also available at subsidized rates on the Swift DZire Regalia, these include signature wrinkled seat covers, new body graphics and decals, reverse parking sensors, designer floor mats and an interior styling kit. The Individual pricing of these accessories is around Rs 18,810, but the company is offering these at a discounted price of Rs 13,800, which is around Rs 5010 less than its individual pricing. According to MSI, the total benefits offered on DZire Regalia totals up to Rs 30,010 while that on Swift Silver Plus it comes up to Rs 44,245.
Both the limited editions have come at a time when festivities are about to begin in India. Since the facelift versions of both the cars are slated to launch at a later part of the year, hence the car maker came up with limited editions of both the vehicles to offer something new to the customers during the festival season.
