The turning radius of all the trims is 4.7 metres and its mill is powered by three cylinders. All the trims come with the Four Wheel Drive (FWD) option. Power is supplied to the wheels via a five-speed gearbox. The standard model and the optional ZXi utilises MPFi fuel injection system. However, Intelligent Gas-Port Injection has been out into use in the green VXi. The fuel tank capacity of all the variants is 35 kilograms. Apart from this factor, the total cargo volume of the car is 235 litres, thus being quite capacious for a hatchback.

When it comes to the safety aspects, only the ZXi optional comes with ABS, while this feature is missing in the other two trims. Central Locking and Rear seat belts come in all the three variants. All these factors have made the Celerio trims a great model to buy for those who are looking for a family hatchback.
