      Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 likely to be launched next week

      Maruti Suzuki's Alto has been ruling the roost in the small car segment for over a decade now. This time around, India's largest carmaker is set to appease it local fan-base with the introduction of AMT technology in the upcoming Alto facelift in the country. The facelifted versions of Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 shall be available five manual transmission variants namely LX, LXi, VXi & Vxi (o) trims, whereas the AMT technology may feature in VXi and LXi trims.

      On numerous occasions sources have managed to capture un-camoflaged images of the upcoming facelift from Maruti Suzuki's Manesar facility. If reports are to be believed, the facelifted version of Alto K10 may be launched sometime next week. The upcoming Alto K10 is likely to be powered by 998 cc engine that is capable of delivering power output of about 67 Bhp with 89.27 Nm of torque. Pricing aspect is still unknown for now, but coming from Maruti Suzuki production line, it is expected that the vehicle may be launched within the affordable range.

      In terms of design aesthetics, the upcoming Alto K10 facelift shall sport redesigned head lamps that compliment the all new and smart chrome grill at the front. The wheels are adorned by 13-inch alloys and the hatchback gets revised front and rear bumpers. Moreover, the taillight and body contours have also been tweaked to render it a fresher appeal.
