Reportedly, the first electric vehicle of the auto maker, named REVAi was able to find just 4750 buyers since its launch in 2001; however the company is of a view that the “Sales of the e2o will be significantly higher, in multiples.” The newly launched model, Mahindra e2o, represents the vision of Mahindra Group, ‘Future of Mobility’ to offer a sustainable environment to coming generations. Interestingly, the auto maker introduced the model at New Delhi Auto Expo as Reva NXR in January 2012. However, it has been launched as Reva e2o in the Indian auto market.

In order to lure a large number of buyers, the model has been offered in a number of colour options, namely Arctic Silver, Coral Blue, Eco Green, Ocean White, Spanish Red and Sunfire Yellow.
