      Mahindra Gusto - Feature loaded automatic scooter under Rs. 50,000

      Mahindra Two Wheelers has been a swiftly growing in the two wheeler segment in India. The brand has recently also bought the globally popular Piaggio brand to further gain a good footing in two segment not just in the domestic market but also in the international market. Gusto, is the new offering from Mahindra Two Wheelers in the automatic scooter segment. Mahindra Gusto has been launched in two trims namely - DX and VX. At the launch event Dr Pawan Goenka, Executive Director, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. was quoted as saying, "The Gusto is Mahindra’s first ground-up scooter developed entirely in-house. Based on deep consumer insights, it deploys innovative technology to create a category, defining product, which will provide exceptional value in the fast growing 100 cc scooter market.”

      Some of the features that makes Mahindra Gusto a cut above the rest is features like Remote Flip Key, Find-Me Lamps and bright Halogen Head Lamp with LED Pilot Lamps, thereby creating an amazing value. The scooter has been developed based on deep consumer insights, which also deploys innovative technology that creates a category, defining product, that will provide exceptional value in the fast growing 100 cc scooter market.

      Rajesh Jejurikar, Chief Executive – Farm Equipment & Two Wheeler Division and Member of the Group Executive Board said, "The Italian styled Gusto is powered by the smooth & fuel efficient M-TEC engine. The telescopic suspension with air springs and 12- inch wheels give it a best-in-class ride experience. Mahindra Gusto is neither too heavy heavy nor too light. The 120kgs weighing Mahindra Gusto is adorned with 12 – inch wheel that render it a smart appeal. The scooter has received dynamics that read 1275 mm of wheelbase and 165 mm ground clearance. Gusto from Mahindra is powered by 109.6 cc, single cylinder, M-TEC All Aluminium engine that generates about 8.2 PS of power with top torque of 8.5 Nm. Reports from ARAI state that Mahindra Gusto delivers mileage figures of about 63.5 kmpl. The DX variant is priced at Rs 43,000, whereas the VX variant has been launched for Rs 47,000 (Both the prices are Ex-Showroom Delhi based).
