The latest development has been confirmed by Stefan Pierer, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), KTM. According to Pierer, the three upcoming RC series of bikes would remind one of the Moto3 Grand Prix racing bikes. The powerful bikes are believed to be developed with a dual purpose for both on-road and off-road driving.

The Austrian bike maker has already working on its new Duke-based models, which are expected to be ready for a global launch sometime during the 2014 year. Further, KTM’s upcoming RC motorcycle series would make its public debut at this year’s EICMA Milan Show to be held in November. Further, the first model to be launched next year is expected to be the KTM RC 390 bike (January 2014) that would be followed by the arrival of RC 125 and RC 200 bikes in April 2014.

The KTM RC bike range is expected to be assembled at the company’s partner Bajaj Auto’s Chakan-based manufacturing facility. The KTM Duke has already become one of the most respected bikes at the moment and it would be interesting to see when the RC range arrives at Indian shores.
