Car manufacturers in India are gearing up for the festive season. Car sales in India have shown a decline in figure for the second consecutive month which has left car manufacturers and dealers in a worried frenzy. Now in order to boost sales figures and cut down on inventory, car manufacturers are banking upon the festive season which is peak time for car sales in India.
Ford is offering Tanishq Diamonds worth Rs. 20000 with every purchase of its new face lifted Ford Fiesta. It has also launched cash incentives for corporate and public sector customers. Not to be left behind, General Motors is offering huge discounts on its models like Chevrolet Spark, Chevrolet Aveo, or Optra Magnum. There is cash discount of Rs 58,000 on Spark, Rs 48,000 on Tavera and Rs. 28,000 on Optra Magnum. It is also offering interest waiver of 4-5 percent on loans for all its models.
Maruti has also announced Rs. 30000 discount for its existing customers if they buy SX4. There is free insurance and a discount of Rs. 11000 on Wagon R while Maruti Alto comes with free insurance and Rs. 4000 discount. Zen Estilo comes with free insurance and additional discount of Rs 15000, this festive season. There are additional discounts of Rs. 17000 on SX4, Rs 4500 discount on Swift Petrol, Rs 5000 discount on M800, Alto, Zen Estilo and Wagon R for employees from banking, retail and insurance sector.
