The highly speeding expansion drive of the British luxury automaker Jaguar Land Rover owned by the Indian auto manufacturer, Tata Motors is visible with the new sales outlet inaugurated at the heart of the country. In partnership with Sanghi Brothers, the company has opened up its first dealership at Indore.
The showroom will consist of the magnificent showcase of Jaguar’s flagship models like XKR, XF, XFR, XJ and XKR-S that is termed as the speediest sports car delivering power packed performance.
Mr. Rohit Suri, Head (Premium Car Division) of Jaguar Land Rover India, was quoted as saying, “We opened our first Indian showroom in mid 2009 and initially concentrated on tier 1 cities. We are now moving to other cities and regions. We have rapidly grown to 15 operational dealerships.”
With perceiving Indore as a potential market for high-end cars, even the German luxury automakers, Audi and Mercedes-Benz have appointed authorized dealerships in December 2011 and February 2012 respectively that has intensified the rivalry quotient among these segment leaders.
The car maker aims to attain high sales figures in the current fiscal to surpass its sales volume recorded in the year 2011-12 that stood at 2289 units with exponential growth of 157 percent.
The company has also revealed that in a bid to capture the premium segment demands in India, it will strategize to penetrate deeper into the market with intelligently planned dealership network.
