In India, Hyundai Eon has been positioned in direct line of competition with the country's favorite Maruti Suzuki Alto 800. To beat the competition and stay ahead, the carmaker had launched the 1.0 Liter trim in the country a while ago. This time around, spy shots captured by sources features a face-lifted trim of Hyundai Eon hatchback that is undergoing test on Korean streets.
Hyundai has not spoken on the details for now, but based on what can be seen on images, the hatchback is likely to receive slight external modifications on the front and back section of the vehicle. Major changes are not expected to its sides, but it is possible that the company may have slight changes on the door panels. Hyundai Motors may also retain the existing engine for now. In India, the Eon hatchback is available in two engine options namely 800cc engine and other being a 1.0 Liter engine. The smaller engine generates about 55 Hp of power with 74.5 Nm of torque, whereas, the 1.0 Liter engine generates about 68 hp of power with 94 Nm of peak torque output.
