Hindustan Motors (HM) Limited, the iconic Indian automotive firm and Joint Venture (JV) partner with multinational auto major Mitsubishi, opened the doors of a brand new retail outlet for its Japanese partner in Bangalore on November 24, 2012. The stylish new facility is HM's 41st dealership for Mitsubishi products in India and the inauguration ceremony was presided by Uttam Bose, Managing Director (MD), HM Limited.
The new Mitsubishi authorised dealership is called M/s SVR Motors and is strategically located on Richmond Road, Bangalore. Uttam Bose was present for inauguration and affirmed that the new dealership would provide a world class buying experience for the prospective Mitsubishi clientele in Bangalore metropolitan area. Evidently, Bose was also joined by Yoshiaki Wada, Head, Marketing and Channel Development, Mitsubishi division along with C. Venkat Nageswar, General Manager (GM NW-1), State Bank of India at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Reportedly, SVR Motors dealerships have been authorized service outlets of HM – Mitsubishi, since April 2010. The world class facility now boasts off being a full fledged 3S (sales, service and spares) dealership stature, because of its superb performance and rampant surge in demand for Mitsubishi products in the state of Karnataka. Further, the M/s SVR Motors is owned by Amar Prasad, who has an immense experience (more than 30 years) in the auto markets of India and abroad.
Expressing his delight at the opening of HM's 41st dealership for Mitsubishi product range in the country, Bose said, “With the launch of SVR Motors as our dealership today, Bangaloreans will now find it easier to procure some of the world’s best SUVs… I am referring to Mitsubishi’s legendary and unmatched machines like Montero, Pajero Sport and Outlander. Pajero holds the record of 13 consecutive victories in Dakar Rally – one of the most difficult inter-continental automobile racing contests. Its latest model, Pajero Sport, has taken the SUV world by storm not just in India but wherever it has been launched in Asia in the recent past. The freshly opened Mitsubishi dealership - SVR Motors’ showroom is state-of-an-art and provides a world class buying experience, besides providing quick and efficient customer service. The service workshop is spread across an area of 15,000 sq. ft. in Muniswamappa Industrial Area, Bommanna Halli, along with an adjacent 1500 sq. ft. facility just for spare parts and components. Further, some 35 vehicles can be serviced every day at the outlet, where 48 employees in the service workshop cater to every need and requirement of the company's old and new customers. The facility is equipped with about 17 service bays as well.
Regarding the quality and make of Mitsubishi's Indian fleet of utility vehicles, Bose further added, “No terrain is forbidden territory for Mitsubishi’s powerful SUVs. While these vehicles are maestros of off-road driving, they are, at the same time, more than a match for the best sedans when it comes to traversing city roads and lanes.
