      Hero Dash 110cc scooter launching this year

      Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, is planning to launch a series of new motorcycles and scooters in the Indian two-wheeler market. Last year, the company showcased its new range of motorcycles and scooters. Now, the homegrown two-wheeler maker is ready to launch its new scooter and motorcycle range in the market.

      Of all the two wheelers the company is planning to bring in, the Hero Dash 110 could be among the first ones to be launched. Hero has already started testing its upcoming Scooter, the Dash 110, in India. It will be a premium offering to target male buyers and will compete against the likes of Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter and Yamaha Alpha.

      The Hero Dash 110 gets sporty exterior with smart lines. It is propelled by an 110cc, 4-stroke air-cooled engine that is capable of producing a top power output of 8.44bhp and a peak torque of 9.4Nm. It features the conventional telescopic front forks and the scooter rides on new alloy wheels with 90/90/12 front tyres and 90/90/10 rear tyres. The braking system comprises of drum brakes, which works along with Hero’s integrated braking system.

      The Hero Dash is loaded with various features including fuel lid system, low fuel and side stand indicator warning on digital instrument console, under seat storage light and mobile charging socket. The Scooter will be positioned above the Maestro and is likely to be priced around Rs. 56,000.
