The Harley Davidson Street 750 is powered by V-Twin engine. This engine has been reported to be different from other bigger capacity engines that Harley is usually known for. The four stroke engine in the Street 750 features a single overhead camshaft with four valves per cylinder. The cruiser comes with built-in fuel injection technology and is liquid cooled. The lower capacity 750 engine has been mated to 6 speed manual gearbox. It is also worth noting that Harley Davidson motorbikes are known for refined gear systems that makes them a tech leader in this segment.

The bike comes at a lower price tag as company has decided to use spares from the local market. To begin with, the Harley Davidson Street 750 will run on MRF tyres. As per sources, the bike shall be manufactured at Bawal Plant in Haryana. Sources have also stated that Harley Davidson shall sell the Street 750 at a global platform, thus making the Indian plant a major exported of cruiser bikes.

Post Harley Davidson Street 750 launch in 2014 Delhi Motor Show, the bike shall be joined by its younger sibling, called the Street 500. Sources have stated that the Street 500 will feature similar engine technology as the Street 750, but the only difference would be its smaller engine capacity. The bike shall be available in International market this year, but the official launch for the Street 500 in India would be in 2015. Sources have stated that the bike may be priced below 4 lakh rupees.
