Porsche unveiled the 911 GT3 Touring Package at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The car pays homage to the 911 Carrera RS Touring from 1973. The newly introduced 911 GT3 Touring Package is the latest GT Series sportscar in the 911 fleet. The vehicle gets a six-speed manual transmission as standard and will be sold as a regular production model.
Mechanically, the Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package is powered by a four-liter six-cylinder boxer engine that generates 500bhp of power and 460Nm of torque. The vehicle is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100kmph in just 3.9-seconds. The vehicle is capable of reaching a top speed of 316kmph. Customers can however opt for a few features from the standard GT3.
Porsche is offering the clubsport pack and the Alcantara interiors along with multiple wheels, optional ceramic brakes and LED headlamps as optional on the 911 GT3 Touring Package. The car gets modest interiors which comprises of a large display on the dashboard and a black interior theme.
