      Fortpoint Automotive fair enthrals the city

      The car and bike lovers recently got a huge reason to rejoice, as a fair, organised at a very large scale, grabbed not only infinite eyeballs but buyers too. The fair has witnessed sales of around 1,100 vehicles till now and moreover, organisers say there are further orders for around 2,500 enthralling machines that are on display. The vehicles would be delivered, most probably, on the auspicious day of Diwali.

      The eighth edition of Mumbai's highly renowned motorcycle and car fair, the Fortpoint Mahotsav, has sold-off 1,000 motorcycles and 100 cars. The much awaited fair commenced during the first week of October and will go on till 5th November.

      The event has been organised by Mumbai-based Fortpoint Automotive, and has claimed that it would sell-off approximately 2,500 cars and bikes on Diwali day that is 26th October.

      "We are hugely surprised and thrilled that over 10,000 people have visited us in the last two weeks and taken a great liking to our single window clearance system of on-the-spot financing, RTO certification and spot-exchange facilities," said Sundeep Kumar Bafna, Managing Director of Fortpoint Automotive.

      "The Diwali buyers are also thronging the mela and with more than 2,500 deliveries of cars and bikes set to take place on this day, we are hopeful of selling 4,000 bikes and 500 cars by the end of the fair - Nov 5," he added.

      People interested in buying will enjoy a spot selection of all variants of Maruti Suzuki, the market leader while two-wheeler enthusiasts will be offered with variants of Hero MotoCorp. Another reason that makes the fair unique per se is that people can exchange their old vehicles with all-new ones.

      The fair has gained so much popularity that banks like HDFC and ICICI have shown their inclination towards getting related to the sensational event. Therefore, the banks have their  representatives stationed at the site for spot processing and clearance of loans. Officials from Maruti Suzuki and Hero MotoCorp are also present in order to interact with prospective customers.

      Amol Bawkar, a customer keen to buy Hero's Passion Pro said, "Fortpoint is reliable and trustworthy. I am planning to exchange my old Passion Plus for the new bike. Also, there is no waiting period when we buy from this fair and the loan process is easier."

      The fair is held at two places, Mahim in south-central Mumbai and Vasai in Thane District, north-west of Mumbai.
