Ford has unveiled its new concept sedan just days ahead of Auto Expo 2014 event in Delhi. Kumar Galhotra, Vice President, Engineering, Global product development, Ford said, “In design, connectivity and safety, the features in the Figo concept are at the forefront of smart technology”.
The new sedan is expected to powered by Ford’s existing 1.2-litre petrol engine, 1.5-litre petrol or the 1.0-litre EcoBoost turbo-petrol. Sources have also stated a possibility of 1.5-litre DV5 turbo-diesel engine finding its spot underneat the car's hood. The Figo sedan was unveiled by Dave Schoch, Group VP, Ford Motors and Nigel Harris, Ford president. It is also said that the car may feature a 1.0 litre engine that may churn out about 80 bhp. Company has not spoken about the pricing yet as it is just an unveiling. Detailed specifications may be expected to be released at the event.
