The Italian automobile manufacturer, Fiat has geared up for the upcoming 36th Bologna Motor Show with several face-lifted models. The event will be held at the BolognaFiere from 3rd to 11th December 2011 and will again act as the perfect launch pad for Fiat cars.

The Italian automobile industry will witness the launches of various facelift models from Fiat Group, such as Fiat Sedici, Fiat 500 Nation Limited Edition, Lancia Ypsilon Black&Red edition and four variants of Abarth.

Fiat Sedici, also known as Suzuki SX4, was launched in 2006 and will, now, be showcased at the event with a minor facelift. Consumers will have the option to choose from three trim levels for the Sedici. One variant is powered with a 1.6-litre engine having 120 bhp power churning capacity, while the second runs on a 135 bhp, 2.0 Multi-jet diesel engine available in either front-wheel drive as well as a selectable all-wheel drive.

On the other hand, the Fiat Nation Limited Edition will be available in hatchback as well as convertible versions. The American version of this car sports blue paint with Stars and Stripes graphics, whereas the convertible version is in white with same graphics and a red roof.

The Fiat Lancia Ypsilon Black&Red Edition will be showcased in four vibrant colour choices, viz. two shades of red, black and a two-tone black and red colour scheme. Along with the colour scheme, the model will either have a 1.2-litre gasoline engine with 69 bhp power capacity or a 95 bhp turbo-diesel engine.

Fiat Abarth is another attraction at the Bologna International Motor Show that is expected to draw crowds with four special editions. The Abarth 595 Turismo and Competizione models will be powered with 1.4-litre turbo four that has 160 bhp of power. Moreover, the 695 Assetto Corse generates 205 bhp of maximum power, whereas the Punto Scorpione powered by a 1.4-litre four engine produces peak power of 180 bhp.

Thus, with a bagful of face-lifted models, Fiat Group is expected to receive many laurels at the Bologna Motor Show this year.
