Ducati goes for New Set of image Release on its Social media Platform

Ducati has just about increased the hype regarding the sale of Scrambler, its new presentation by releasing its images on the official social networking site of Ducati. The images show the bold outline of the bike with its powerful structure and LED lights in full glory. However, not all is yet revealed as the images were shot in dim light, probably at the crack of dawn.

The Ducati Scrambler was a major hit motorcycle during the 1960s and 1970s decades. The new model is just about a spiritual successor to the old model and is deeply inspired by its predecessor. In the past, the Scrambler used to come with a minimalistic approach and powered by 250 cc and 400 cc mills. It is expected that the new Scrambler will bear the legacy of the old generation in similar lines. There will only be a slight modification in the new variant. The new model used to run on a single cylinder, whereas the new machine will be powered by a liquid cooled 696 cc V-twin engine. The same mill is also used in the Monster 696, which is one of the best-selling bikes of this brand.

A trellis frame has been built to make the platform of the Scrambler bike with a lower exhaust pipe, rear grab rails and a short tail to give a retro approach to the bike. Minimal bodywork will be done on this model, but the list of optional equipment is expected to be quite long for this bike.

The scrambler has been kept well under wraps, and only a few fans were able to see it at the World Ducati week in Misano. Some employees were also shown the new model at an Italy production unit. Its first full-fledged public display will be at the Intermot Show 2014 in Cologne, Germany. The bike is expected to be available in the US market by early 2015.
