When you are the brand ambassador of a company, certain privileges and advantages can be enjoyed apart from being the face of the company. There is a scope of enjoying freebies and gifts from time to time if you are doing well as the face of the company. It was not much of a surprise, when John Abraham, the ambassador of the brand Yamaha was gifted a special edition FZ-S FI V2.0.The brand has itself named the edition as the Yamaha FZ-S John Abraham edition.
The street fighter FZ-S FI gets an all-black colour with grey and black themed decals. Interestingly, the bike has been given a makeover to look as athletic and fit as the actor himself. The fuel tank has been adorned with the actor’s signature and the forks have been finished with the decals, as well. However, when it comes to mechanics, the John Abraham edition does not get any modifications. It is powered by the same 149 cc single-cylinder engine with fuel injection system. It is capable to churn out a maximum power of 13.1 PS. With a maximum twisting force of 12.8 Nm, the bike sends the power to the wheels via a five-speed transmission. The new modelled has been made lighter than the previous one by three kilograms. Thus, it is expected that the rider will get additional advantage due to the better power to weight ratio.
It is not so clear whether the brand will launch the new model for normal buyers as well. Even it does so, it is not known the exact time and date of launch. However, there are expectations that the bike will be launched during the festive season. John is known for his love of bikes and possesses many a model in this garage. The Yamaha FZ-S FI will no doubt become an asset to his garage now. Yamaha, on the other hand is also planning to launch a Mission 10000 kilometres expedition where it will allow 20 riders to take a part on a trip across the country. It will take place for a total distance of 10000 kilometres and aboard the new FZ FI 2.0.
