The affected bikes is said to have some problems with the threads in the brake line banjo bolt placed in the front brake master cylinder, which might lead to corrosion in the cylinder. The problem may escalate a sudden loss of brake fluid, which might lead to a crash of the bike.

Harley-Davidson will notify the dealers as well as the owners of these models to inspect and flush the front brake cylinder. Also in the event of it facing damage it might be replaced completely. This will be done totally free of charge. The recall will begin from January 15 itself. The recall is however not related to the region and it is difficult to gauge how many models are affected by this problem as of now.
