As per recent spy shots, the new Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS has been caught testing on Indian roads. Till now the NS styling from Indian bike-maker has been successful with the 200 NS variant from its production line. This time around Bajaj has unveiled its plans to pass on the naked design mania to the Pulsar 150 variant as well.

Exact engine specification for the Pulsar 150 NS is not known for now but it is anticipated that the bike may be powered by 149 cc engine that generates about 15.06PS of power at 9000 Rpm with 12.5 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM. The fairly powered engine is mated to five speed gearbox. It is worth noting that the embossing on the engine reads as triple-spark tech, thereby suggesting an engine upgrade on the new Pulsar 150 NS. The bike has retained the kick start and electric start pattern.

Designing cues for Pulsar 150 NS have been borrowed from the 200 NS sibling and shares some common components like the foot pegs, alloy wheels, swing-arm, crash guards, clip on handlebar, instrument cluster and turn indicators. The pillion foot rest seems to be borrowed from the Pulsar 135 LS variant. Sources have also hinted a possibility of 180 Pulsar being launched in a similar avatar. Bajaj chooses to be tight lipped about the fresh launch for now and may be talk about in detail during an official launch of the motorcycle sometime later in the country.

During the February held Auto Expo event in the country, Bajaj had unveiled two new bikes namely the Pulsar SS 400 and Pulsar CS 400 that had Pulsar fanatics spell bound. As per sources, The Pulsar 400 shall be sold in two versions namely Super Sports and the Sports tourer. Both the bikes shall be powered by a 375cc liquid cooled 4 valve fuel injected engine. The powerful engines shall be mated to a 6 speed gearbox.
