      Bajaj Auto, the homegrown automaker, has re-launched its commuter motorcycle, the CT100, in the Indian market. The 100cc commuter motorcycle's price starts at Rs. 35,034. The company discontinued the CT100 in 2006, but the company has revived the brand to target daily commuters.

      The new Bajaj CT100 gets new body graphics and three colour options. The vehicle also gets a pair of alloy wheel; however, this model is priced at Rs. 38,034 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It comes with a 10.5-litre of fuel tank.

      The Bajaj CT100 gets a 99.27cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that churns out a maximum power output of 8.1bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 8.05Nm at 4,500rpm. The spoke wheel version of the CT100 weighs 108kgs, while the alloy wheel variant weighs 109Kgs. The engine is coupled to a four-speed manual transmission to transfer the power to roads. It is claimed to return an impressive fuel economy 89.5kmpl and has a top speed of 90kmph. The suspension system comprises of telescopic forks at the front and two-spring SNS (spring in spring) suspension at the rear.

      Bajaj Auto is also planning to launch a new Pulsar range in the country. The company will launch the Pulsar 200 SS in the country soon. This affordable sports bike is expected to be called the Pulsar RS 200, where RS refers to 'Racing Sports'.
