The Indian unit of Germany based leading luxury car Audi launched its RS5 sport coupe in the state of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday. The car carries a price tag of Rs 77.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Andhra Pradesh).
Excited with the rapidly growing demand for the luxury cars in the state, the company aims to sell 300 units of Audi cars in the region, in this calendar year. Two units of RS 5 coupe have already been sold in Hyderabad.
On the side lines of the launch of new RS 5 sports coupe, Rajiv M Sanghvi, Managing Director, Audi Hyderabad, said, "We have so far sold 550 Audi cars in the city since the dealership opened three years ago. The new model, which has won many awards globally, will further drive the sales in the city."
At present, the Audi brand accounts for about 28 percent market share in the segment of luxury cars in the state.
Powered by a massive V8 engine, the all new RS 5 delivers staggering performance on the road. Moreover it carries unmatched style and performance characteristics. The car is expected to further strengthen the company’s position in the sports car segment.
