Audi, the luxury automaker from Germany, has launched its super sportback Audi A7 in Indian domestic market on May 11th. The Audi A7, winner of “Auto Bild” Design Summit 2011, was launched in New Delhi by Audi India Head Michael Perschke and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.
At the Audi A7 launch event, Audi India Head Micheal Perschke, said, “The introduction of the new Audi A7 Sportback in India reiterates our unwavering commitment to offer the discerning Indian customer with products of highest technical perfection and design finesse. Driven by our philosophy of 'Vorsprung durch Technik', the new five–door executive sports coupe is targeted at individuals who seek the luxury of customization and a sense of freedom. The launch of the new Audi A7 is in line with our top down strategy, which started with the introduction of the all new Audi A8 early this year. With its sporty driving qualities combined with impressive efficiency, I am confident that the all new Audi A7 Sportback will set a benchmark for style, performance, progressiveness and luxury in its segment”
He also added that Audi A7 is a car of prestige, sports and innovative technologies and it is a combination of coupe and sedan. As far as the Audi A7 engine and price are concerned, the car is equipped with 3.0 Liter TDI petrol engine and its ex-showroom Delhi price ranges fron INR 64 lacs onwards.
