Audi India, the Indian subsidiary of the Germany based leading luxury car maker Audi, is speculated to roll-out a new CNG version of its popular luxury sedan A4 in the Indian auto market. The new A4 CNG is expected to mark its debut in year 2014, and will be carrying a range of cosmetic upgrades at both exterior and interior front. As per recent media reports, the all new Audi A4 would have a larger and lighter body as compared to the existing version of the car - the new A4 is said to be about 120 to 150 kg lighter as compared to its predecessor.
If all goes according to reports, the all new Audi A4 will be the first ever luxury car that will be launched in CNG version in addition to the traditional petrol and diesel versions in the Indian market. Using CNG kit in a luxury car not only reduces its carbon emission level considerably but also offers a unique opportunity of owning a luxury vehicle at lower operational cost.
Audi is currently the third largest luxury car maker in the Indian auto market. The company sells a range of its sedans and Sports Utility Vehicles in the country including the likes of A4, A6, A7 Sportback, Q3, Q5 and Q7. The company is aiming to enhance its market share in the Indian auto market by launching a series of new car models along with enhancing the number of its dealerships in the country.
