German luxury car manufacturer Audi has unveiled the A3 clubsport Quattro concept which is scheduled to be showcased in a couple of weeks at Worthersee. Based on the S3 Sedan, the concept model looks sportier and has an increased power.
This concept is powered by a 2.5-litre 5-cylinder TFSI engine that also powers the RS Q3. This engine is capable of developing a top power output of 525bhp and 600Nm of peak torque. Power is transmitted to a Quattro all-wheel drive system via a seven-speed S-tronic gearbox which is equipped with launch control. The new Quattro concept weight just 1525kgs, and it accelerates to 100kmph from standstill in mere 3.6 seconds and catches a top speed of 310kmph.
The Audi A3 Clubsport Quattro concept rides on 9.5 J x 21 wheels shod with 275/25 R21 sized tyres. The vehicle has all four disc brakes which are made of carbon fibre-ceramic, making them extremely lightweight and abrasion-resistant. The vehicle unveiled features a Magnetic Blue exterior shade and it is equipped with the Matrix LED headlamps.
