Sold via charity auction, the amount would be used for medical assistance and support for victims of armed conflict, epidemics and other disasters. Speaking more on the occasion to sources, Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer said: “The DB10 is one of the rarest cars ever created. Only 10 will ever be made and this is the only one that will be made available for sale. It’s great to see this DB10 raising vital funds for Médecins Sans Frontières. It is a fantastic charity that we are delighted to support”.

The proceeds from the initiative shall reportedly go to ‘Doctors without Borders’ or ‘Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)’ who shall distribute funds among the needy. Another expensive item from the movie that was auctioned was the Day of the Dead costume that was worn by the actor himself. The costume was auctioned for £98,500 (Approx INR 96.95 lakh). With this the total amount raised for charity stood at £2,785,500 (Approx INR 27.41 crore).
