Aston Martin, the British luxury sports car maker, has called off the production of its much fancied two-door coupe, One-77. The car hit the global market with a limited number of 77 units that has been completely sold and is at present the most expensive car rolled by Aston Martin.

One-77 was partly unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2008 and it marked its global premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in 2009 where the premium sports car enthusiasts caught the glimpse of its handcrafted aluminum body, complete carbon fiber monocoque chassis with 7.3L V12 engine delivering a top output of 750 hp. Aston Martin claims that the car is embodied with the most powerful naturally aspirated production engine in the world.

On the sidelines of the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, Dr. Ulrich Bez, CEO at Aston Martin was quoted as saying, "The Aston Martin brand is stronger than ever. This is demonstrated by intense interest in the new V12 Zagato, recently shown at the Geneva Motor Show, and our $1.93-million One-77 supercar – all 77 of which are now sold."

The sales of the automaker have crossed over 4200 units in the last 12 months that comprises of all the 77 units of the Aston Martin One-77. The financial records showcase a surge of 7 percent in the revenues earned by the company in 2011 that stood around $815 million.
