      Aditya Patel to take part in Audi R8 LMS Cup 2015

      Audi India has revealed that Aditya Patel, the young racing talent, will take part in the Audi R8 LMS Cup in Asia in 2015. The young racer from Chennai will begin his fourth year with Audi with the support of Jubilant Motorworks, Amante, JK tyres and Audi India. The young man had some unforgettable racing moments last year, which allowed him to earn a seat for himself in this prestigious event. The Audi R8 LMS Cup will be based from China and will further advance to Korea, Malaysia, Japan and Taiwan. This will be in support to the World Endurance Championship and GT Asia.

      Aditya Patel, when asked about the stint said, "I'm really happy to be a part of the R8 LMS Cup this year. The championship has been growing steadily and now we see many Asian nations backing top drivers from their respective countries to participate in this series. It's great to have support from Audi Sport as well as Audi China to be a part of this series. I would like to thank Audi India, JK Tyres, Amante and Jubilant Motorworks for their long standing support and I am definitely looking forward to another competitive season of racing. I'm working together with Audi to find more sponsors this year to be able to domany more races including the 24 hours of Nurburgring and the 24 hours of Spa,"

      Patel had taken part in the International GT Open in Europe with Novadriver team from Portugal. Patel-Campanico duo was able to stack five podium finishes that season, which included a pole position in qualifying for Patel. The National Racing Champion had won several races in JK Racing Asia Series, the Volkswagen Scirocco R Cup. The Audi Group had delivered an estimate of 1741100 cars to customers in 2014, which racked up a revenue of 49.9 billion euros.
