Exterior:
The key highlights of the G 400d ‘Adventure Edition’ include 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with a silver finish, a roof rack, a logo projector on ORVMs, and a rear removable ladder.
The G 400d AMG, on the other hand, gets 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, a Burmester sound system, a sliding sunroof, a widescreen cockpit, and 64-colour ambient lighting.
Interior:
Inside, the SUV comes equipped with two dashboard-mounted screens, grab handles for passengers, an air purifier, a Nappa leather-wrapped steering wheel, and four exclusive exterior paint shades.
Engine, performance, and specifications:
At the heart of the G 400d is a 3.0-litre diesel engine churning 325bhp and 700Nm of torque. The power is transferred to all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission. The SUV can sprint from 0-100kmph in just over six seconds.

Mercedes-Benz India has officially added a diesel-powered version to its G-Class roster, launching the G450d at Rs. 2.90 crore (ex-showroom). With this addition, the G-Class line-up in India now spans petrol, diesel, and electric powertrains.
Mercedes-Benz is set to introduce a unique "India Inspired" Collector's Edition of the G63, with pricing slated for announcement on 12 June.
The Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 Collector's Edition is reserved only for loyalists who already own the brand's luxury car.
