I am a delighted Volkswagen owner since over a year and I have driven my polo everyday with sheer driving pleasure. As this is my first diesel engine car I feel the performance is no less than petrol. Even after a year I am often asked at the gas station weather it's really diesel or petrol that I want to fill. The engine performance as in terms of mileage is up to its mark with an average of 19-20 km/pl and long drives are powered more with enthusiasm and less with fuel. My friends who own a petrol car just for its power and acceleration envy me because I can spend more on my weekend and less on the prize of going there. I just simply love taking my Polo out of the city. But that is a pleasure of owing polo, now talking about the challenges that the car has to face everyday in a city where bumper-to-bumper traffic is an everyday scenario where the clutch is used more than the meters you are traveling. Still again a good cabin where the outside noise is cut to a lowest decibel and the powerful air conditioning adds to your ease of cutting through traffic. But even though using the car for a year everyday now I am having difficulties in getting used to turn signal indicator control which is on the left side of the steering wheel where usually the left hand rest on the gear while steering with the right hand. If this indicator was on the right side as in most other right-hand drive cars do in India it would easy to signal with the right hand by just flicking the switch while holding the steering wheel before cutting into another lane as bumper-to-bumper traffic and hazardous roads with blind potholes is a challenge on how to maintain your cars value. If there is anything I could change this is the only and the only thing I would like to change as these can make me a better motorist.
