Renault has upgraded the equipment list of the Kangoo Zen (6MT) model in Japan and the new version has been introduced at a price of 2,470,000 Japanese Yen (Rs 14.98 lakh).
Sources have revealed that the updated Kangoo will now be more versatile and the seats can be folded to the same height as the luggage space. This helps in accommodating a flat luggage area as and when the need arises. The front passenger seat can also be retracted to allow long baggage (approximately 2.5 metres) to be placed accordingly. Also available is a front seat back table and the inclusion of curtain air bags that takes the total count of air bags to six.
Renault’s Kangoo continues to use the same 1.2-litre direct injection four cylinder turbocharged motor that makes 115bhp at 4500rpm and 190Nm of torque that’s coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox. Renault’s new Kangoo is highly practical and offers the capability of carrying people and their baggage in a smart and comfortable manner. In addition to all the regular paint shades, Renault has introduced a new blue cosmos metallic colour to spruce up the looks of this vehicle.
