      Steelbird launches specially designed Ares series of helmets

      Steelbird, one of the most popular helmet manufacturers in the country, had introduced a new range of professional gear, which will be called as ARES. Now, adding further, another range of professional helmets has been launched, which is called “ARES- Flip up Helmet”. In a revolutionary design introduced by the firm, it is a one-of-a-kind product that has been made using technology from NASA. The manufacturer aims at taking the experience of bikers in India along with ensuring that all safety measures.

      The Flip up helmet by ARES is a path breaking product that is perfect for professional and passionate bikers. Designed in Italy, a team of highly trained experts have worked on it and the use of innovative technologies has made this a top class product. The main highlights of this range of products are high impact strength shell, imported materials, multi-coloured unbreakable visors unique visor locking system and high density of EPS to absorb the impact. All these features, along with a single push user friendly button for the helmet. Industry experts feel that this chain of products will do really well in the market.

      There are a number of features in this helmet, such as usage of high-end materials and phase change technologies, which are used by NASA for astronauts. The phase change technology used in this helmet has been developed by OUTLAST – a company based in United States of America that designs NASA suits for keeping them not too hot neither too cold. This technology works on a principle of ice cube cooling a drink and enhances the textile by facilitating benefit of temperature regulation.

      Rajeev Kapur, Managing Director of ARES Helmets, spoke on the launch and said, “This move is a gift for Biking passionate as they will be able to have a feel of an uncompromised biking experience with these sturdy helmets”. The buckle used in the helmet is of European Standard and the metal locking system ensuring safety to the rider.

      The Ares range of helmets is being manufactured in India by Steelbird Helmets and there is a technical collaboration with Outlast technologies. Prices of these helmets ranges between Rs. 2999-3999 and will be available in models like Stroke, Skull, Denim and so on.
