Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini celebrated completion of a decade in the Chinese market by introducing new model Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce at the automobile show going on in Shanghai. This is a limited edition car and only 600 units of the same will be sold worldwide. According to reports, Lamborghini introduced the Aventador LP 750-4 in Shanghai as a mark of gratitude to the Chinese car market, which has been one of the biggest in the world for the brand over the years.
Stephan Winkelmann, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lamborghini, was present at the event and spoke about the car. “After the worldwide debut last March at the Salon de l’Automobile in Geneva, today we present here in Asia the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce. This new car represents the perfect combination of Lamborghini’s expertise in lightweight engineering and sophisticated technical features. The new Aventador LP 750-4 is the most exclusive, pure and emotional car in our current model range,” he said.
The Superveloce range from Lamborghini is regarded as a range that is faster than the parent models and is primarily made for enhancing performance. Needless to say, the Aventador Superveloce lives up to the firm’s traditions and trademarks. The weight of this car has been lowered by 50 kilograms by employing proficient engineering techniques and carbon fibre. Also, the engine has been fine-tuned further to produce a power level of up to 750 BHP. This car is capable of reaching 100 kmph from scratch in 2.8 seconds and can reach up to 350 kmph.
