After Mercedes-Benz reveals the facelifted S-Class, the German car maker is then expected to turn its attention to other versions like the Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabriolet that was recently caught testing.
Like the picture depicts, the mid-life facelift of the S63 AMG Cabriolet can be seen with minimal camouflage and that’s because it will be quite similar to the current model. What’s visibly new though is that the nose-section displays a restyled grille and bumper with head lamps that sport new internals. Again, the camouflaged rear section of the prototype conceals a redesigned bumper and tail lights with new graphics.
Mercedes is slated to equip this Cabriolet with several semi-autonomous functions that have found their way into the new E-Class, but with numerous extra functions. Also, power for the facelifted version of the S63 AMG Cabriolet will likely be sourced from either the 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 from the E63 S AMG or a tweaked version of the 5.5-litre bi-turbo V8 motor. Stay tuned for more news on the upcoming S63 AMG Cabriolet in the time to come, as the brand is all set to debut the facelifted S-Class next month.
