Nissan has stated that they intend to unveil the Juke e-Power concept (EV) at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. Since the brand vowed to debut the new Juke in 2017, we can safely expect the e-Power to use the updated design too.

Nissan has also told reporters that the new Juke will borrow the design cues from the Gripz concept; an aggressive looking SUV that was first showcased in the year 2015. Under the hood of the Juke e-Power will be the same hybrid powertrain that does duty in the Note e-Power. So, expect a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that’s mated to an electric motor.

Sources suggest that the Juke e-Power will not have plug-in capability. All of the electricity made by the combustion engine will be diverted to the electric motor. It is believed that the battery pack will be positioned under the front seats to prevent it from intruding into the passenger’s useable space.
