Czech Republic based car maker Skoda Auto, which is a fully owned subsidiary of German auto giant Volkswagen, has launched a two-wheel drive (4X2) variant of its popular Sports Utility Vehicle – Skoda Yeti – in the Indian market. The new Skoda Yeti 4X2 is shelved in the price segment of Rs 13.46 lakh to 14.32 lakh (ex showroom price). The new 4X2 version of the car will be available in two variants including Skoda Yeti 4x2 Active and Skoda Yeti 4x2 Ambition. The SUV is available for booking across all Skoda dealerships in the country.
Powered by a 2.0L TDi engine, the all new Skoda Yeti 4X2 delivers a peak power of 110 PS at 4,200 rpm along with a peak torque of 250 Nm at 1,500 – 2,500 rpm. The new model claims to be delivering a considerably high mileage of 17.72 kmpl.
The major attractions of the new Skoda Yeti 4X2 model include features like ESP, Vario Flex and Hill Hold Control and many more. The new 4X2 model of Skoda Yeti will be offered in five exciting color options including Cappucino Beige, Magic Black, Mato Brown, Brilliant Silver, Candy White and Aqua Mist.
The Skoda Yeti was launched in the Indian market in November 2010. Initially, the SUV was launched in a 4X4 version only.
