      New models of Mahindra Pantero launched in India, base starts from Rs. 39,650

      Mahindra Two Wheelers, a part of the $ 15.9 billion Mahindra Group, has introduced three new options in its Pantero entry level commuter bike range offered in the country. The new Pantero models, T-2, T-3 and T-4 are now available in the Indian two-wheeler market, and sit beneath the top end T-1 trim. Pantero T-4 is the new base model and carries a price tag of Rs. 39,650, while the mid level T-3 and T-4 models are available with retail values of Rs. 40,550 and Rs. 42,250, respectively. Further, the top model Pantero T-1 carries a price of Rs. 43,150 (All prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi).

      Speaking his mind on the Pantero entry level bike range, Viren Popli, Executive Vice President (VP), Mahindra Two Wheelers, “Mahindra Two Wheelers is striving to offer stylish and value for money products with unique consumer relevant features. This new Pantero variant is another step in this direction, offering customers some exciting features like LED pilot and tail lamps, and a fully digital dashboard, all at a very competitive price tag.”

      The Mahindra Pantero bikes are powered by 106.7 cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled MCi-5 (Micro Chip ignited – 5 curve) engine that is rated with power and torque figures of 8.4 bhp at 7500 rpm and 8.5 Nm at 5500 rpm, respectively. This bike comes fitted with digital dashboard, LED pilots and tail lamp and aircraft-type refueler cap. The company has claimed that its Pantero entry level bike delivers an impressive mileage figure of 79.5 kmpl.
