Maruti Suzuki is a leader in the small car segment but in the sedan segment it really has to work hard to make its presence felt. Maruti has now launched a new limited edition SX4 model – SX4 Royale in the Indian market in absence of any fresh or new generation model from Japan. The model has been launched in two variants VXi and ZXi where ZXi is a fully loaded model featuring body-coloured door moulding with Silver finished handles, EBD, ABS, Dual SRS airbags, fog lamps, Alloy Wheels, Audio controls on steering wheel and Automatic climate control system.
The ZXi VXi misses some of these features but flaunts new seat covers, gear knob and leather clad steering wheel. There are two new colour options of Oyster Blue & French Eclair which makes the SX4 available now in seven colours.
With the launch of new Hyundai Verna and upcoming Volkswagen Vento, Maruti Suzuki is leaving no stone unturned to be fiercely competitive even in the sedan segment. It has already launched new variants and face lifted models in the small car segment and it is also expected that its premium sedan model Kizashi will be launched by December this year.
