Maruti Ritz has become quite popular in the Indian car market owing to its fuel efficiency, Maruti brand tag and new kind of design and styling. The company has now introduced the new limited edition variant Maruti Ritz ‘Genus’ of which only 5000 units will be sold across India.
The new variant of Ritz is priced at Rs 4.52 lakh and Rs 5.31 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), as against the existing Rs 4.36 lakh and Rs 5.15 lakh for Vxi and Vdi versions, respectively. It comes with a brand new signature colour ‘Emerald Blue.
The car has no significant changes on the exteriors except for body matching door handles and rear view mirrors. Body side mouldings are accentuated to give a more stylish look but the interiors are definitely something to reckon with. The dual tone dashboard is quite impressive and the limited edition variant comes equipped with radio and CD with speakers. Other fresh features include keyless entry, rear wiper-cum washer and a rear parcel tray.
“Ritz has received very good demand from customers. I am confident that the new edition — Ritz Genus — will find great appreciation with customers,” Maruti Suzuki India Chief General Manager (Marketing), Shashank Srivastava, said on the launch occasion.
