      The new fourth-generation Jeep Wrangler has been launched in India, with prices starting at Rs 63.94 lakhs (ex-showroom, pan India). The model is available in a single variant powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine.

      Exterior highlights of the new generation Jeep Wrangler include the signature seven slat grille, trapezoidal wheel arches, round headlamps, square tail lamps, full-frame removable doors and roof and fold-down windshield 18-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs, LED fog lamps and LED tail lamps. Dimension wise, the model is 130 mm longer, 17mm wider and 9mm taller while the wheelbase is 61 mm longer when compared to the outgoing model.

      Inside, the new Wrangler features black leather seats, 8.4-inch UConnect Infotainment System features with Apple Car Play, Android Auto and voice control; 7-inch MID, dual-zone climate control, remote key access, leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control and engine start/stop button.

      Powering the new generation Jeep Wrangler will be a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine capable of producing 268bhp and 400 Nm of torque. This engine is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Also on offer is the company’s SelecTrac 4WD system. Safety features on the model include a rear parking sensor with back-up camera, Electronic Stability Control with Electronic Roll Mitigation, ABS with Brake Assist and dual airbags.
