      Mercedes set to unveil its new F1 car on February 4

      Mercedes, the well-appreciated German automobile giant, has announced intentions to unveil its new Formula One race car on February 4, 2013. The upcoming race car will be another immensely powerful and top-of-the-line product of the acclaimed German automobile engineering, and will carry the massive onus of becoming the fastest car on Formula One racing circuits in this season.

      The German auto major participates in the 'World's most expensive racing motorsport' as Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team and has a distinguished list of race drivers including the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. The new Mercedes Formula One car is named F1W04 and will be introduced at the start of pre season test sessions at Circuito de Jerez, Spain. The Mercedes F1W04 race car will be used by Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg during the 2013 Formula One season.

      Lewis Hamilton, the 28-year old British race driver and 2008 Formula One World Champion, signed a three-year contract with Mercedes AMG Petronas in September 2012, after spending six years with team Vodafone McLaren Mercedes. Evidently, Hamilton started his Formula One journey with team Vodafone McLaren Mercedes in 2007, and won with them his sole championship title during the 2008 season. Hopes are high with Hamilton for this year's season, in the Mercedes AMG Petronas team war room.

      Nico Rosberg, the 27 year old German Formula One racing driver, will have to develop quick understanding with Hamilton, in order to take team Mercedes AMG Petronas at top of the Constructors' standing charts. The partnership between British and German born team mates looks ominous for other participating teams in Formula One playground, at the moment.

      Other Formula One teams, such as Vodafone McLaren Mercedes and Ferrari will also unveil their new race cars for the upcoming season on January 31 and February 1, 2013, respectively. Further, holders of the 2012 Constructors' title, the Red Bull Racing team will unveil its 2013 race car on February 3.
