British sports car maker McLaren has shown the 2016 650S GT3 which will make its public debut at next month’s Geneva Motor Show. Now as you may have guessed by looking at the aggressive looking body work comprising of a front splitter, different wing mirrors and a massive rear spoiler, this new GT3 model is the track-only version of the regular 650S.
McLaren will soon start selling the 2016 650S GT3 to customer teams for various racing events across the world. Aside from the beautiful-looking racing bodywork, the 2016 650S GT3 gets the familiar twin turbocharged 3.8-litre V8 engine that’s been paired to a 6-speed sequential gearbox. The engine is tuned to produce around 500bhp to meet the FIA GT3 regulations.
