Mahindra has re-entered the UK market with the latest iteration of the e2o electric car and will take forward its Anglo charge with an all-electric range. It is expected to launch another car as well as a two-wheeler.
This is an important development for the company as it will assemble vehicles at its facility outside Bengaluru. The plant currently does not work to full capacity due to low demand but this is expected to change now. Further demand is expected to come from creation of spares and replacement body parts.
It has previously sold the Revai (known as the GWIZ locally) during the middle of the previous decade but only with a modicum of success. This newer lineup is expected to bring about a revival for them. Its ICE onslaught will be led by its South Korean brand Ssangyong which has a range of vehicles and body styles.
