Post much wait, the new Mahindra TUV300 facelift in India for a price of Rs 8.38 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The new model gets bolder and more muscular styling highlight over its predecessor. The updated TUV300 is available in existing T4+, T6+, T8 and T10 variants. Moreover, this time around, the TUV300 is also available in the optional T10 (O) variant. The new model is available in seven colour options, which includes two new colours, highway red and mystic copper, in addition to dual tone colour options like red with black, silver with black, bold black, majestic silver and pearl white.
To distinguish the TUV300 facelift from its predecessor, the updated model gets a piano black front grille, new headlamp design with DRLs, X-shaped metallic grey spare wheel cover, side cladding and chin plate and clear lens tail lamps. The TUV300 facelift gets a Pininfarina designed interior with silver accents for a premium feel. The feature list includes reverse parking camera, 17.8cm infotainment system with GPS, static bending headlamps and micro-hybrid technology.
Mechanically, the updated model continues to be powered by the existing 1.5-litre three-cylinder diesel engine that generates 100bhp of power at 3750rpm and 240Nm of torque at 1600rpm. Speaking on the occasion, Veejay Ram Nakra, Chief of Sales and Marketing, Automotive Division, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd., said “We are pleased to launch the Bold New TUV300, the facelift version of the only compact SUV with an authentic SUV design that combines the space and comfort of seven seats with performance and hi-tech features.
