Mahindra has just launched the more powerful TUV300 that makes 100bhp, at Rs 8.87 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
Mahindra’s current mHawk80 motor makes 84bhp and 230Nm of torque. The new mHawk100 engine will make 16bhp more, and will be made available to buyers of the top-end T8 and T8 AMT versions. Torque for the mHawk100 engine has also seen an increase of 10Nm, and now stands at 240Nm. Mahindra has confirmed that they will sell the manual T8 version of the TUV300 with the option of either the 100bhp or the 84bhp engine. However, the T8 AMT version can only be bought with the 100bhp mill.
