      KTM Orange Day heads to Mumbai this time

      Since its inception, Austria based bike manufacturer, KTM has been slowly and steadily making a mark in the Indian auto sector. Reportedly, the company has been actively engaging in organising various events to publicise itself. Since its inception, KTM has been organising an event called Orange Day that is characterised by a magnitude of audience, loud music and festival like atmosphere, which makes the racing event even more famous. The KTM Orange Day will now head to Mumbai on 27th of October and would be held in the parking of Inorbit Mall in Malad.

      Dedicated to bike enthusiasts, KTM Orange Day happens to be a racing event that is organised by the company for its customers so as to give themselves an opportunity to race amongst others. With this event, the company aims to give them a platform to interact with other fellow owners of KTM bikes. Reportedly, the owners of KTM 200 and 390 Duke models will get a chance to showcase their talent in a safe and secure environment to push the limits of their bikes. Besides, the action at the track will include a special service camp and KTM Power Parts stall wherein the owners can modify their bikes according to preferences. As reported, the 1190 RC8-R and 350 SX-F models of KTM would be kept on display. The company is aiming to reach out to owners located in Mumbai, Pune, Baroda, Delhi and Bangalore, with these Orange Day events.

      The fabled event will be held on 27th of October at the Inorbit Mall Parking Area on Link Road in Malad and the event is scheduled to start from 9 am while the race time is set for 10 am to 12.30 pm. Meanwhile, the company is on an active spree of launching its several models in the Indian market as it recently introduced its Duke 390 model. Since its launch, the bike has received a positive feedback from the customers and is constantly raking in good sales for the company. The bike was locally designed and developed at Bajaj Auto's manufacturing facility at Chakan in Pune. It is priced at Rs. 1.8 lakh and the company is aiming to sell 2 lakh units till 2017.

      KTM 390 Duke is equipped with water cooled four-stroke engine that is coupled with a 6-speed transmission system. It has got 44 bhp of peak power that sets in at 9500 rpm and with this, the bike accelerates to 100 kmph from stationary in an impressive time of 7 seconds. The bike gets safety features like Bosch Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) that can be turned on and off. Other set of equipment include radial mounted four piston front brake callipers in addition to the one at the back. The company has given a wheelbase of 1367 mm, alongside a ground clearance of 170 mm that further enhances the balancing and off road capability of the bike.
