Hero MotoCorp, the leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India has launched the Splendor Pro Classic, which was officially unveiled during the Auto Expo in 2014. However, the looks have changed a lot for this bike and sport an appearance, which is pretty uncharacteristic of the bike. It has a café racer sort if an appearance currently.
Those people who are looking for an exclusive motorbike in a stiff budget can opt for the Splendor Pro Classic. Several features strike the eyes of the fans – spoke wheels, retro headlamps, orange blinkers, chrome-finished side mirrors, side cowl and fuel tank, mud guards, silencer can, bulge at the rear and split-appearing handlebars.
Mechanistically, the Hero Splendor Pro Classic is powered by the old 97.2 cc air-cooled, powertrain mill as seen in the Splendor Pro. The maximum power output is of 7.7 bhp with a torque of 8.04 Nm and the mill is connected to a 4-speed manual gearbox. The price tag has been fixed at 53900 INR (ex-showroom, Delhi), which naturally offers a high value for money. The looks are similar to Royal Enfield Continental GT, which is priced at 1.89 lakhs.
