The researchers at US based leading car maker General Motors claimed to have designed a unique electric car that can drive through the heavy traffic itself and can even park itself without the help of driver. The car was recently showcased at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The new generation Electric-Networked Vehicle (E-NV) is basically a two-seater vehicle that has been designed while taking into consideration the common driver concerns. In addition to this, issues like energy consumption and affordability have been taken care of very well.

The new revolutionary vehicle is claimed to be capable of rotating itself 360 degrees and can be driven even without a driver. The car is capable of covering a distance of about 40 km in a single charge and can be driven at a top speed of about 40 km/hr.

As per a recent statement given by Mr. Chris Borroni Bird, GM's Director of Advanced Vehicle Concepts, "This vehicle is going to be increasingly needed in the markets where we hope to grow our business. It's really a step up from a bike. We think it will be less expensive than a car but more practical to move around in."

However, as the car is still in its initial development stage, the company hasn’t revealed any timeline of launch of this vehicle.
